Thank You and Farewell For Now, Traveloka

The day was December 17th, 2014. The sky was gloomy as I went to Grand Slipi Tower for my first day at Traveloka. The company was still quite small with a little more than 100 employees. I was employee number 119, so there should be around 120 employees in the office at that time. All of us were located in one floor, and it was quite packed back then. One table for 4 people was allocated for 6 to 8 people, so you can imagine how was the condition at that time. However, it was a memorable experience as it made us more solid and strengthen our bond.

Fast forward to November 2020, now we have around 2,000 employees which are located in many buildings and many countries. The Indonesia team is on the preparation to move to Green Office Park in BSD where the new headquarter located. A lot had changed in past 6 years, some good and some others bad. The past 6 years was a wonderful journey that I experience with Traveloka, and I will be forever grateful for anything that I got from this company.

Every beginning will has its own end, so do my adventure at Traveloka. Yesterday marks my last working day in this company as it’s time for me to embark a new challenge.

Traveloka has given me a lot of memories and experience, good or bad. I met new friends, role model, and even my girlfriend in this company, so there are a lot of reason for me to be grateful. I would like to express my gratitude to Traveloka, which has developed and shaped me to be the who I am today. And I also want to say thank you to all of my leads and colleagues for all their friendship, guidance, and help.

I still couldn’t believe that finally it’s time for me to leave this company, but life must go on. I had a great time in this company and I hope my next destination will also give me equal or better experience. I hope all the best for Traveloka and all of my colleagues. It’s been nice to work with all of you and hopefully our path will cross again one day.

For now, let’s bid a farewell. Thank you and see you again in the future!
